Comments about what we do well as a school included:

‘There is a very strong community culture within the school that allows an environment of openness and approachability between all children, staff and parents. Lane End’s real strength is the friendliness and warmth you receive whenever you visit there as a parent or a child. Thank you for all of the hard work and care all of the staff at Lane End give every day.’

‘Lane End is an excellent school - the teachers teach the children well and have good rapport with us parents.  Excellent teaching and leadership - very well done.’

‘Many, many things! Overall, the enthusiasm and passion shown by the staff to enhance our children’s education and learning experience. Every element of the curriculum is enthusiastically and creatively taught, inspiring the children in so many ways - sport, music, maths, creative writing. The children lead very enriched lives due to Lane End!’

‘We are extremely happy with our child’s school life - every day is different for him: new experiences, varied activities, different methods of learning, good effective ways to manage good behaviour and great encouragement from teacher and teaching assistants.’

‘Provide a safe and happy environment in which the children benefit from the excellent teaching provided in a highly stimulating way. Communication between school and parents is excellent.’

A wider selection of comments is available on the website along with a summary of our school improvement plan for parents – please click on ‘Lane End Parents Say’.

We use the feedback from the questionnaire to help inform our school improvement plan and priorities for the year.

It also gives us information which helps us to make smaller, possibly unseen changes which ensure that all of the children are having a positive experience in school. We are always striving to improve and do value and act on your feedback so please do get in touch if we can help.

The feedback we have received from the questionnaires isn’t currently reflected on the Parent View website – this is run by Ofsted and asks the same questions about every school. Please could we ask everyone to take a few minutes to go on to the Parent View website, register and then fill in the online form giving your views about the school. The complete link is https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/give-your-views/survey/4393 (if you go on to our website and click on newsletters you can click on this link on the current online newsletter). You can also go to https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/ and click on ‘Give your views’ and then put in Lane End Primary School (for school) and Cheadle Hulme (for location). Thank you for your help and support.

We aim to be approachable and work in partnership with parents, so if there is anything you wish to discuss, please do not hesitate to come and talk to us.

Yours sincerely,
