Owlets

Owlets is our wraparound breakfast and after school club. We opened in September 2021 and our children absolutely love coming! We are a fun, safe, nurturing and friendly club that follows the school’s ethos and culture.

We are based on site in the community room with access to the hall, library, computer suite as well as outside and the trim-trail so there’s lots of room to play and hang out with friends! 

We deliver a wide range of activities from art and crafts, sports, construction, baking, gardening, computing and roleplay with lots of exciting activities to expand your child’s imagination and learning.

We provide food and snacks which are included in the price. In the morning, we offer cereal and toast, and at 3.20pm when the children are collected from their classrooms they are offered snacks such as sandwiches, wraps, noodles, yoghurts or fruit.For those children still with us at 5pm we then offer toast, which is very popular! 

Booking a Place

Bookings are made through Magic Booking at: https://laneend.magicbooking.co.uk

Payment

Payment must be made in advance. Children will not be able to stay at the club unless payment has been received. Payment must be made through Magic Booking. We also accept Childcare Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare.

Cancellation

Any cancellations are completed through Magic Booking. To do this - Log in and go to my bookings/view bookings/cancel dates. Choose the dates you wish to cancel and submit. All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the booking day to avoid being charged.

Charges

If your child is collected more than ten minutes after your booked collection time you will be charged a £10 late collection fee.

Late collection after 6pm (5.30pm on a Friday) will be charged at £20 per 15 minutes.

Parents will be allowed one ‘emergency’ same day booking per school year, after that an administration fee of £10 will be added to your account for each subsequent same day booking.

If your child has not been booked into Owlets and needs to attend, again each family will have one ‘emergency’ booking, thereafter a £10 administration fee will be added to your account for subsequent bookings.

Please note, you will not be able to make any future bookings until any charges have been paid.

Signing In and Signing Out

Drop off and collection will be at the community room door.

Please sign your children into the club with an Owlets staff member on arrival in the morning and please ensure that you sign them out when you collect them after school.

Medicines

A medical form must be completed if your child requires medicine.The administering medication policy is available on the school website.

Behaviour

Children attending the club are expected to follow the school’s Behaviour Policy. Parents of children not following the school rules will be informed and in extreme cases, the club’s services may be withdrawn.
