Information about some of the clubs this term:

Choir – The choir continues to go from strength to strength and we are keen for new members to get involved too. It is great fun and provides a great opportunity to improve your singing and perform. Open to all children from Year 3 onwards. With Mrs Stutfield and Mrs Toyne.

Chess Club – learn and enjoy the challenge of the game of Chess and other traditional games such as Scrabble, Ludo and Snakes and Ladders. Led by Mr Vallance.

Girls Football Club – at lunchtime this term and part of our sports premium provision led by the coaches from life Leisure. Separate days for Years 3 / 4 and Years 5 / 6.

Cricket Club – skills and small games during the club with the possibility of some matches later in the term.

Fitness Club – an adaptation of our cross country club as the competitive races have finished for the year - the focus will be on keeping fit. There will be some circuit training, short runs and keep fit work. Part of our sports premium provision. Led by Mrs Li - our multi-talented higher level teaching assistant who is also trained as a run leader!

50th Anniversary Sewing Club – Work with Mrs Leary to create a commemorative wall-hanging to celebrate Lane End’s 50th Anniversary. Limited to 8 children at a time so the club is split over the year and the groups were organised in the Autumn term.

Recorder Club – Children in Year 2 can practise playing the recorder and enjoy playing some tunes together with Mrs Mealand (in the Year 5 classroom).

Infant choir – join Mrs Chamberlain for this new lunchtime club and enjoy singing and learning new songs. For Years 1 and 2.
